My love for racing started when I was three years old. My family and I regularly attended races and camped at the Phoenix International Raceway. I would be so excited I'd sleep on the motorcoach dash to see the track while falling asleep. When I was four, I attended a race at Tucson Speedway. They had a fan meet and greet, and the announcer asked all the kids to come down and touch the race cars. I threw a toddler fit! I didn't want to touch the race cars; I wanted to DRIVE them. That was when my family learned about the Tucson Quarter Midgets Association (TQMA). I went to a TQMA arrive-and-drive event at the track when I was five. I drove a car for ten laps, not knowing how the brakes worked. The car finally stopped when I hit the wall and broke the car. I got out and wanted to do it all again. After that, we got my first racecar; the rest is history!
I competed in quarter midgets until I outgrew my cars at age eleven. I competed in both USAC and Quarter Midgets Association-sanctioned events across the country. We logged over twenty different states from California to North Carolina for two summers in a row. My favorite events every year were Indianapolis and the Winter Nationals in Las Vegas, and my favorite classes were the Light 160 and Light World Formula.
At eleven, I retired from quarter midgets and started competing in the INEX Bandoleros Series. In my first season, I was the rookie of the year. The following year I moved up to the outlaw division, where I competed at Tucson Speedway, the Bullring in Las Vegas, and Havasu 95 Speedway. I won two track championships, the state championship, was rookie of the year and set a new track record.
In 2022, my family and I moved to Tennessee. I competed in the ZMax Pro Grand National Series (baby grands) at Highland Rim Speedway in Greenbrier, TN. My competition was made up of all adults twice my age. I was the youngest competitor in the series. I was Rookie of the Year, points champion, and also won the southeast regional championship. In 2023 I plan to compete in the ZMax traveling series and start my rookie season in a Pro Late Model!
I would love to have a long career in racing and have goals of being a NASCAR Cup Series Driver, Winner, and Champion. I come from a law enforcement family background and am incredibly proud to "back the blue"! I could also see myself as a K9 handler, as I am passionate about what these incredible animals do for our well-being and safety. I would love to use my platform to recognize our K9 heroes!
Some of my hobbies and interests include Formula 1 and all other forms of racing, art, driving my iRacing simulator, being on my phone, watching makeup tutorials, and hanging out with my pets.
I start high school next year and look forward to attending shop class and welding.
